Buses in Guatemala City are quite colorful. In the mornings, while waiting for our city guides, we saw many buses going by. Apparently each route has its own name and conspicuous colors. Some carried a tire or two on the roof.

We did not have the opportunity to travel in one of the buses, which usually were full. At one time we were standing in an intersection when one of these buses stop near by. A person came down and screamed some words. Our guide said they do that to pick up passengers.
