Flowers just planted in October
Leicester Square, London

There are many parks, some big and some small, through out London. Many of them have flower sections. In some of these sections the plants are equally set in symmetrical patterns, we guess what they call formal gardens. In other sections the plants are together and although they keep a pattern, the impression is that they grow in their natural state, or wild.

The flowers are not limited to the parks. Here and there as we walked the city we saw flowering plants arrangements decorating windows. In some places it was just a pot very well taken care off. Other places look like colorful jungles.

Our trip to London was in October. Not much time left before the first freeze of the year. With that freeze all the perennials and other flowering plants are gone until next Spring. Still in St. James Park and in Leicester Square we saw new flower plants being planted.

Living in Miami, we are used to seen flowers all year round. Still, only in rare occasions they are as carefully taken care of as we saw in London; very attractive and good taste in most of the cases.
